Meet Melissa

Are you looking for an agent who will provide you with patience, honesty, care, and all around excellent service as you embark on one of the biggest decisions of your life? Then you’ve found the right one! I was born and raised in the Michiana area.  I attended school in the Penn Harris Madison school district and continued my education at Saint Mary’s College, where I graduated in 2009.  I spent my first fourteen years post college as an elementary school teacher. I taught for two years in the South Bend School Corporation before moving to the PHM district, where I taught for 12 years. I loved teaching and cherish all of the relationships I made during that time.

I have been married to my wonderful husband Kaleb for 10 years, and we have 3 beautiful children, and 1 puppy.  We have lived in Granger since 2016.  We enjoy exploring all of the parks & restaurants in the area, and taking our kids on adventures.  We also love attending our church, Gospel City. 

My transition from teaching to real estate had a lot to do with my enjoyment of the process of buying and selling homes that my husband and I have been through multiple times.  It excites  me and brings me joy to look at homes and see the beauty and potential in them!  In addition, I have a servant's heart and absolutely love helping others.  I knew when I decided to leave teaching that I wanted to do something where I could continue to educate and help others, and I am thrilled to be able to offer my skill set to potential buyers and sellers.  My in-depth knowledge of the Michiana area as well as vast experience with the local school districts is something I would love to share with you.  I promise you to do everything I can to make the home buying and/or selling experience the best it can be for YOU!  After all, home is where the heart is.
